When the State of Alaska needed help in implementing a innovative design/build process for the new $36 million Alaska Psychiatric Institute, they retained Livingston Slone to assist them. Together with nationally renowned specialists, LSI developed the space program, planning and bid documents for this complex psychiatric facility housing five separate patient populations within one building.
