Aniak Sub-Regional Clinic
LSI provided design services to The Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation for this 6,300 sf sub-regional health clinic. The building includes the standard features of a primary care facility including a laboratory and pharmacy; two dental operatories with specialized lab space; an emergency room with two trauma stations; a radiology suite; waiting areas for children and adults; holding room for patient stabilization prior to evacuation; optometry examination room; receptionist/medical records area; six examination rooms; two office/consultation rooms; and associated facilities. We designed the clinic to protect patient privacy through thoughtful placement reception and waiting areas. Patients can easily find their way around the clinic, allowing staff more time to concentrate on service and less on directing bodies.
