Bethel Health Center
Livingston Slone designed the Bethel Health Center for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services. The building was designed to withstand the rigors of Bethel's environment while providing a warm and comforting environment for patients and staff alike. In our building design we considered both the possibility of future expansion and the need for flexibility. The project was designed as an addition to the Yukon Kuskokwim Regional Hospital.
The Legislature did not fund the construction for this project, so it was converted to a stand-alone building as a Design/Build Lease procurement. LSI developed for the State the RFP documents including a very detailed space program.
